More about me...

More about me

Hello World,

I was found in the area of El Zancudo, inland from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico along with another dog - Harmony. While the surrounding mountain areas are gorgeous, we were not planning to explore them on our own… Best guess is that we were abandoned... 🌄🗺️📌While we are dogs, descendant from regal wolfs, we do not have hunting instincts nor we are prepared to trek Cerro La Piedrita Mountain.

Now that we are safe at Sula, the initial vet check revealed a bit of our history. I as treated for papillomas and I am doing very well. While we were saved from the same geographical area, we are not bonded and can be adopted separately.

Quite a duo you might say… But we are ready to find loving homes, share the simple pleasures in life and be your sunshine on the rainy day… Music is in the air… 🎶🎶

[…]”What doesn't kill you makes you stronger
Stand a little taller
Doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone
What doesn't kill you makes a fighter
Footsteps even lighter
Doesn't mean I'm over 'cause you're gone

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, stronger” […]
Kelly Clarkson, “Stronger,” 2011.

Sending my love, Vaquita.💖

What does it cost to adopt me?

The adoption costs are $3,000 MXN for Mexican Nationals, $550 CND Canadian or $400 USD for Temporary or Permanent residents living in Mexico. Adoption costs for dogs adopted in countries other than Mexico are $750 CND or $600 US dollars. Don't forget, wherever you live, to budget for all the other things your new fur-baby will need.

What does the fee include?

First of all, vet blood work and check up, including all needed follow-ups, any medications needed, as well as spay or neuter by our vet. Secondly, food and care while at SULA (we love all our rescues and pour our hearts out each day to provide best life possible). Further, the vet pre-flight check up and clearance, transport to the airport, all paperwork, all vaccinations, the cost for the airline transport, and use of a kennel in transport, harness, and leash for arrival. Lastly, our endless love.
